Text Box: MEMBERSHIP SUMMERISED
The committee may admit to membership any corporate body, company, business or firm or any person who is living, working or active within the community served by the Co-operative, and have agreed to pay the Co-operative membership subscription.
The membership shall be drawn from the boundary within the Westlink, Windsor Park and Olympia Drive; City Hospital, the Dublin rail line, Glenmachan Street and Tates Avenue area.
Each member will be issued with a personal account number and a passbook to record their transactions.
The minimum weekly deposit acceptable is £1.00.
The maximum weekly deposit allowed is £100.00.
We would encourage members to save regularly, so that we can produce cash flow projections.
Your shares can be withdrawn at any time, but to allow for a build up of funds, we would request that you would invest your money for a minimum of five years.
When enough capital is available, property can be purchased and refurbished if necessary, and then rented to Co-operative members.
The rental income would then be re-invested in the Co-operative, to assist in the purchase of additional properties.
It is envisaged in the future, that a dividend will be paid into individual member’s accounts on their shares held.
