Are you 16—17 years old? Looking for a challenge? Yes, then OCR Leader Training could be for you. You will be trained in the essential knowledge and skills for initial leadership. You will need to be involved in a youth group as your practical to fulfil the necessary period of supervised and assessed practice in a trainee leadership role providing anyone looking to enter youth work with the ideal background training. |

NIOCN Introduction to Youth Work
This programme is designed to follow on from Education for Peace. Consiting of: At least 30 hours of tutor/participant contact time. A minimum of 20 hours working with young people in a youth work setting. Method of assessment: · portfolio building · a testament from the supervisor This is a competence-based programme. |

Inter-Community Sports Training
This programme is a cross-community sports education and training project where you will be given the opportunity to participate in different types of sports with other young people, learn the skills to continue cross-community sports and provide you with the first steps to becoming a qualified coach.
The course includes Grass Roots Mini Soccer, Foundation Basketball, Sport for All Leaders, First Aid, Child Protection and Equity in Sport. Each course leads to a certificate of achievement from the delivering agency. |
